Accessibility Statement
How this site is built to be usable by everyone, what is still being improved, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Our commitment
AP Construction wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or reduced-motion settings. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
Measures on this site
- Semantic page structure with header, navigation, main, and footer landmarks, and a skip-to-content link on every page
- One H1 per page and a logical heading order
- Menus and accordions built on native browser disclosure elements, so they work with the keyboard and without JavaScript
- Visible focus indicators on all links, buttons, and form fields
- Form fields with visible labels, helper text, required-field marks, and an error summary that receives focus when a submission fails
- Support for the reduced-motion preference: animated sections fall back to static, readable content
- Descriptive alternative text on informative images and empty alternative text on decorative ones
- Text and control colors chosen for strong contrast against their backgrounds
- Layouts that reflow for small screens and for browser zoom
Known limitations
Some parts of the site are still being completed, and we would rather say so than claim full conformance early.
- Some project and section images are placeholders or generated illustrations pending real project photography. Their alternative text describes the intended photograph.
- The homepage includes a scroll-driven three-dimensional build sequence. It is decorative; all of its text is available as regular page content, and it is replaced by static content when reduced motion is preferred or when the browser cannot render it.
- Placeholder images are served from an external placeholder service and may not load in every environment.
- A full audit against WCAG 2.2 AA with assistive technology is scheduled before launch; issues it finds will be corrected and this statement updated.
